Runcast Weekly #20: Brett from the Zen and the Art of Triathlon podcast and I get together via Gizmo Project for a dual host podcastThis week we begin to investigate the far reaching possibilities of the podcast
So for a few months now, Brett from the Zen and the Art of Triathlon podcast and I have been discussing the possibilities doing a podcast together. The original idea was to go on a run and record a podcast but I just couldn’t find a way to fit it into my schedule. So instead of running together we decided to do a podcast via Gizmo Project, the running podcast may be put together someday but I think what we ended up with here is a fine replacement.
In the old Sienfeld tradition, the show is about nothing, completely free flowing and unedited. I had a great time doing this podcast and my only complaint is the low volume on my microphone (uggh, my microphone!). Other than that the podcast went well and we covered a wide range of topics. This is my longest podcast to date so expect to be with us for some time to finish the entire podcast.
If you would be interested in guest hosting a podcast, similar to what Brett and I have done here, send me an email (runcastweekly@gmail.com) with the words “Guest Host” in the subject line. Include your name and what subject you would most like to talk about. It can be any subject as long as it relates to running. I will then contact you and arrange a time and date to record the podcast. Don’t worry if you don’t have microphone connected to your computer, we can do this via phone and Runcast Weekly will flip the bill for the long distance charges! Honestly, does it get any easier than that? So what are you waiting for, send your email.
This episode of Runcast Weekly was brought to you in part by Vitruvian Running shoes. If you would like to support the show there is an incredible opportunity on ebay. I am auctioning a small banner ad on the RCW website. You can find the auction here.
Thank you to cjacks and their song "Mohave Metro" which has now become the intro music for Runcast Weekly. You can find out more about cjacks at the podsafe music network at music.podshow.com.
I would like to thank everyone that has voted for the podcast on podcastalley.com. We are now at #19 for the month thanks to all that have voted.
